Adult & Puppy
Private Lesson Training
Imagine a dog that you can show off for more than just their cute looks—one that responds to every command, no matter the distractions! We offer one-on-one training for both adult dogs and puppies, providing personalized guidance to help you become the best leader for your dog.
Our programs include private lessons or you can choose to complete just private lessons, ensuring that you fully understand how to work with your dog in becoming their best self. These lessons are available at All American Pet Resorts – Greensboro or in the comfort of your home. While this program requires effort from both you and your dog, you’re never alone in the process. To support your progress, every program includes a membership to our weekly group classes, where you can continue fine-tuning your dog’s skills in a social and structured environment
Day Train
Our Day Train programs are the perfect blend of professional training for your dog and hands-on instruction for you. This program allows us to build a relationship with your dog to better assist them with their individual needs.
Each week, your dog joins us at All American Pet Resorts – Greensboro for one or two days of structured training, giving them a head start on the skills they need to be successful at home. While they are with us, your dog will also have the opportunity to socialize in one of the playgroups when they’re not actively training! This added benefit allows us to work on socialization goals such as learning appropriate play behavior, building confidence around other dogs, and ensuring they don’t play too rough.
At the end of each training day, we work with you to ensure you understand how to reinforce their new skills at home. As your dog progresses, they will not only master basic commands but also learn how to stay focused and responsive even around distractions.
Board & Train
When your dog is enrolled in one of our Board and Train programs, we do most of the hard work for you. Depending on which program is the right fit, your dog will stay at our training facility for 5 to 15 days of intensive training. During their stay, we focus on building a strong foundation in obedience and behavior.
To keep you updated on your dog’s progress, you will receive weekly report cards detailing their training milestones and familiarizing you with the terminology used throughout the program.
After your dog’s stay, we work closely with you through one-on-one private lessons to ensure all their new skills successfully transfer to your home environment. Consistency after this program is key, which is why follow-up lessons are essential—these sessions help reinforce the training and ensure both you and your dog are set up for long-term success.
This program runs Monday through Friday. All dogs must have a scheduled pick-up date and time by Friday. Training is not offered over the weekend, but All American Pet Resorts – Greensboro provides boarding and daycare services on Saturdays and Sundays if needed.
Puppy Class
AKC STAR Puppy Program
Give your puppy the best start with our AKC STAR Puppy Program, a 6-week foundational training course designed to build confidence, social skills, and essential obedience. This program helps young puppies develop good manners while preparing them for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test, an important step toward becoming a well-behaved companion.
This course is designed for puppies 10 weeks to 40 weeks old and focuses on key training areas, including leash walking, socialization, potty training, crate training, recall, and impulse control. Puppies will also learn boundaries to manage common behaviors such as jumping, mouthing, and chewing. In addition, we introduce grooming and handling exercises to help puppies feel comfortable with vet visits and routine care.
Classes are held every Tuesday at 5:00 PM for six weeks at All American Pet Resorts (1680 Greenbourne Drive, Greensboro). At the end of the program, each puppy will receive an AKC STAR Puppy certificate and ribbon as recognition of their progress. This class lays the foundation for continued training, including preparation for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification.

Group Class
We follow up all of our transformation programs with group classes. Group classes are a fantastic way to socialize your dog around other dogs and people while reinforcing and advancing their training. We all learn from each other! These classes are primarily held at All American Pet Resort- Greensboro, with occasional public group classes available for our advanced clients. Public classes provide real-world distractions, helping to proof your dog’s training and reinforce what was learned in private lessons.
After completing a transformation program, clients have the option to purchase additional group class credits to continue their training journey.
To acquire a group class membership, you must complete your private lessons with your trainer and meet certain training qualifications.
